BETTER BLOGS

I wanted to give a few helpful hints to help you write blogs in the future. Here are my top 3 ideas that may improve your blogs.
1.      Blogging Schedules
Set yourself a time that you devote to your blog. The time and the length of your blog need to stay consistent. In order for readers to gain interest in your blog, you must write often to allow readers the option to follow your postings. Posting often will also improve your word usage, which will then increase popularity of your blog.

2.      Take notes
In order for people to follow your blog, your content must be accurate and your information needs to be up to date. The best way to insure that information you are posting is accurate, you need to jot key points down, when you see the opportunity to blog. Your readers need to gain trust in you. Putting information that is correct will grow that trust. Taking notes will also give you more ides to talk about in your blog.

3.      Write everyday
The only way to become confident in your words and sound compelling to your readers, you must write often. Writing is a good skill for you to work on. The more you write the easier writing will become.  It is not necessary for you to post everything that you see, you, write to stretch your “writing tools,” and get better at blogging. Think of it as an athlete’s point of view. In most cases he or she must practice daily to set themselves apart on the field. A writer must think the same way.

  2. These are some great suggestions. I know that I need to get on a better blogging schedual and REALLY need to get back in the habit of writing everyday. Life has been crazy this semester and finding time has been hard. It is just choosing what to sacrifice in order to write (aka, family time, school work, work-work, sleep...).

Taking notes is a good idea. I don't keep writen notes, but bounce ideas around in my head until I can write them down. I might try writing notes to keep up with my ideas. Hopefully they will not get mixed up and lost among all of my other writing notes.
